About The Event
Back by Popular demand
MasterSessions in 2021 was nothing short of a triumph. We had 1000 engaged participants from over a dozen countries across two live and interactive broadcasts join Lorimer Moseley and some of his best mates for simply the best 3 days of clinically relevant pain science education you could ask for! And people loved it! Our inboxes were full to overflowing after the event with people raving about this event. Here’s what they told us:
“I just finished a 2 hour reflective phone call about this inspiring and rich MasterSessions with my friend and physiotherapy colleague. I can’t tell you how grateful I am having the possibility of taking part in such an amazing learning experience. It is the balanced mixture of profound and deep and evidence based knowledge, the true motivation of sharing it and helping people and therapists (humans over all) to get out of the mud and see life more clearly with a big open heart which I appreciate a lot!! Please continue!”
And so we are! Due to overwhelming popular demand, we’re getting the band back together to run MasterSessions all over again in May 2022. And you are cordially invited to be a part of this truly special event.
What makes a MasterSession event special?
It’s all in the high production value. This is not webcam perched atop a laptop stuff. We hired a full production crew including a live production manager, film crew and director. We kitted out the place with more cameras, lights and microphones than you could imagine to capture all the angles, all the great moments, and broadcast every single minute jam-packed with educational goodness.
We also recorded everything in glorious HD and made these recordings available to everyone who bought a ticket so that you could watch back all of it – not just the one broadcast but both – over and over again.
Of course, all of this would just be fluff without substance, sizzle without any steak, if we also didn’t bring you the most up to date, cutting edge, hot of the research-press pain science content. And of course, we did! Lorimer skilfully guided everyone through learning and reflection skills that were immediately applied to the deep pain science lectures. He took everyone on a tour of pain theories, the many things that influence pain, and the tools we can use to track it. Tasha Stanton wowed everyone with her presentation on osteoarthritis offering a new take and a new hope for better treatments. And Mark Hutchinson, as is his style, simply blew people’s minds with his session on neuroimmune interactions leading to an understanding of pain in 4 dimensions.

The same, but different and better...
...and more of the good stuff
In 2022 Lorimer is once again leading his supergroup of pain science superstars. And we’ve made some tweaks to the line up and set lists based on your feedback. Mark Hutchinson is back and will be blowing minds across both Broadcasts. Tasha Stanton is back for Broadcast Two and Lorimer has lined up some very special new guests – emerging pain scientists and expert clinicians to keep thing fresh, hip, happening and now for Broadcast One!
Along with the familiar and fresh line up, we’ve tweaked the running sheet to give Mark, Tash and other guests more time to present, educate, wow and blow minds, as they dive into the good stuff. But we haven’t lost your favourite couch sessions, and there will once again be lots of time for your questions to be answered. Of course the production will be the same highest quality, and our film crew have promised some fancy new cameras that will make you feel even closer to the speakers!!
"The MasterSessions were fantastic. The live, online platform was excellent, the smooth movement between lectures, videos, and questions worked really well."
I attended in 2021, should I come again?
We’re not shy about this MasterSession being largely a repeat – a ‘back by popular demand’ production and we think about ¾ of the content will be similar to the 2021 events. We want you to know exactly what you will be getting.
If you didn’t attend in 2021, it’s a no brainer, what are you even waiting for? Just grab a ticket now!
If you did attend in 2021 there are two main reasons to attend again. The first is the vibe. You were there, you know what we mean. There’s nothing quite like being there, live, engaged and interacting with Lorimer and all the other hundreds of people at home. If you want to re-live all the good feels of MasterSessions 2021, you’ll want to come back. The second reason is the extra content. Lorimer of course will tweak and refine his presentations, so you’ll get the updated version of the high quality you have come to expect, plus there will be that extra 25% new stuff from Lorimer’s new special guests. If these two reasons are enough to get you excited – then we can’t wait to see you back in 2022.
What will be the same as the 2021 event?
- Lorimer Moseley’s fundamental pain science course will be updated and refined
- Guest key presenter Professor Mark Hutchinson will appear on both broadcasts with extra time to once more blow minds
- Guest key presenter Associate Professor Tasha Stanton will be presenting on Broadcast 2 (but not Broadcast 1)
- Two broadcast options to make it accessible to all time zones
- Streamed live in HD
- Video recordings of BOTH BROADCASTS available on your noigroup account after the events
What will be different to the 2021 event?
- New key guest presenters on both broadcasts
- New on the couch, guests and discussions with a science focus
- Audience interaction through Q&A, quizzes and polls are unique to each event
